The gruesome discovery of a body in a horrifically decomposed state found in Los Angeles. Teen Celeste Rivas found in a Tesla. Authorities concluded no suspects, cause of death and any arrests. The discovery was so heartbreaking for loved ones however the case took a chilling turn, the Tesla registered to well-known D4vd.
What exactly happened to Celeste Rivas and why did her body end up in D4vd’s Tesla?
What would have been her 15th birthday a day after, the 14 year old Celeste Rivas was found in a trash bag in the trunk of the Tesla. The impound lot picked up the Tesla in the Hollywood Hills after “Someone reported it abandoned.” Faculty noticed the foul odor radiating off the vehicle alerting police, not long after the vehicle sealed off by crime scene tape. The vehicle was found near his residence but never reported stolen by singer D4vd. The case is ongoing at this time and no cause of death is undetermined; no suspects has been announced. The case sparked consipiraces and traces of the pairs connection online becoming a world wide sensation to many.
Who is D4vd?
D4vd pronounced David real name is Anthony Burke, a american singer-songwriter who started his career recording soundtracks in his closet. Padding his closet with his own soundproof materials he used BandLab App when facing issues by using popular songs in his old Fortnite Montages on his Youtube Channel. Gaining popularity quickly on the platform TikTok his hit songs “Romantic Homicide” and “Here with me” and signed with Darkroom and Interscope Records dropping more albums, falling under genres like indie, rock and Rnb.
Connection between Celeste Rivas and D4vd:
Coincidence? You may be doubting how sensational pop star could be responsible for a normal 14 year olds death.
Well, at a glance it might seem impossible D4vd would have any connection between underaged 14 year old Celeste Rivas however thats actually far from the truth. Testimonies from family and friends, even teachers closest to her claimed otherwise. A former middle school science teacher blamed her last attempt to run away from home, in spring of 2024, on her dating a music artist she’d met online. Moreover family and friends and those who knew her also told local media that she had been dating someone named David and said he was a Music Artist. The most flabbergasting testimony made by her own mother claiming she had been missing for over a year and that her daughters boyfriend was named David.
The most incriminating evidence, far too specific to be a coincidence D4vd and Celeste had the same tattoo on the inside of their ring fingers that read “Shh…” Not only that while investigating through D4vd’s devices a unreleased love song was discovered written by D4vd referencing someone by the name of ‘Celeste’in unfinished title and twice in the lyrics.
His hit song “Romantic Homicide” with 1.7 Billion streams on Spotify is now being re-examied. The lyrics read “In the back of my mind, I killed you, And I didn’t even regret it.” It’s graphic lyrics about an ex-lover became far too unsettling by the relevancy to go unoticed.
There is a loophole of conspiracies speculating online with different opinions on their relationship but there is credible evidence of the relationship between the two on social media.
At this time the LAPD have made no public announcements of arrests or potential suspects but a private investigator has spoken out about his recent discoveries involving the case. The investigation escalated when police executed a raid on a home where D4vd was staying however after the raid D4vd has moved out of that home and given his assets to his parents.
The new resident of the home hired a private investigator to determine if the property itself could be linked to Celeste’s death.
Private investigator has made several breakthroughs in the invesigation. He claims he made a “disturbing” discovery inside the house finding items he believes could be used to “get rid of a person.” According to the medical examiner the severe decomposition of the body implies Celeste Rivas was in the tesla by june when the vehicle was reportedly driven according to the PI. He claims to have seen through surveillance and also identified the individual who drove the car and he stated if LAPD were to discover this individual it would most likely be an arrest.
D4vd remains quiet and not considered a official suspect but has hired a high profile defense attorney who represented several other high class defense attornies.
My Take on what actually occured
Based on the evidence a disturbing picture images. All the established facts do set alarms when a illegal relationship with a 20 year old and a 14 year old girl is verified startles me. Part of his artistic identity, source of income was a reflection of his disturbing relationship. Including actors who resembled Celeste, matching tattoos and songs written for her. While the mystery is unsolved and I feel there is not enough evidence given by LAPD to make a clear prediction the nature of their connection is a offense already.
